It was exhausting but it was great. The excursion to Dubbo was so good for so many reasons. There were visits to the Old Dubbo Gaol, the Bottle House, the Observatory in the evening, the zoo of course, Dundullimal Homestead and the Wellington Caves. These were excellent experiences, but so were the opportunities for children to develop a little independence away from more familiar surroundings. The way our children conducted themselves - especially the little ones - was a delight to see. Well done everyone.
